I still prefer groq usage over most especially when testing multiple agents in a workflow, gpt4o GPT customized can properly send useful and helpful responses in their own chat window, and doesnt cost an arm and a leg lol. First month gpt4(OG gpt4) came out I spent 4k as a beta tester running too many AI that worked together at once. I'm so excited to see more from Anthropic and Groq, I'm losing faith in openai on their safety. I personally see 3 places to run inference, Groq for speed and opensources, ollama for local fully, and definitely Anthropic's API is going to be the leader, I don't doubt that at all.

as a software dev student this is starting to scare me a little, just a year ago I was assured "its just a tool, AI is nowhere near making whole apps on its own!" now in almost no time non coders can make apps and web pages. I graduate uni in 6 months lmao.

GPT 4o was disappointment. I'm not impressed with its responses and it doesn't problem solve as well as GPT 4. Claude 3 Opus ever since it was released has performed markedly better than chat gpt products in its writing and coding efficiency. Excited for Claude 3.5 era, and looking forward to open ai's response.

Good stuff. Been in public education for over 30 years and I share your concern about the systems ability to be agile for the benefit of the students. It is actually that driver that continues my work in retirement and started my dive into AI last fall. I realized that any consulting or coaching with educational leaders will be irrelevant if i don't stay in tune with what is happening in the world outside of the slow maneuvering "Titanic". Anthropic needs to address their limits otherwise people will be much more keen to use ChatGPT. The Sonnet 3.5 model is very impressive, however, even if I pay for it I'm limited to the amount of messages I send??? Why would I pay for limitations? They really need to build up capacity to address these issues, otherwise I can't see them out performing ChatGPT over time due to the fact that people will be feeding ChatGPT 1000x more data.

The education system needs a massive kick: it's been failing for decades. Same goes for health. Go and let ai look at what's in the supermarket and then ask it. "Is this good for my health? " (I haven't done this yet.) It a lot of cases it will be a dogma-free, "protect my castle at all costs", source to get some intelligent - and probably pretty obvious - answers.

Is it just me or does cloude have a very limited ammount of text you can paste. In chatgpt i can paste 2200 lines of code without issue but for cloude its too much.

Really amazing what it can do. In terms of code with proper prompting it's doing wonders for me already. I am a genAI tech architect manager in top 100 fortune companies and the usage of LLM is sky rocketing in every task that we are doing. Both GPT4o and 3.5 Sonnet have their pros ane cons. E.g. in medical writing translation gpt 4o is doing better , but large piece of code which is around 16k plus tokens ( with auto continuation programmatically) 3.5 sonnet is doing better.

I tested Claude 3.5 in various contexts and, indeed, it is much better than GPT-4o. OpenAI will fall behind if it doesn't launch its best products quickly. Where is Sora? Comparing to gpt4o seems fishy, its most definitely a weaker model than 4

Last night I tested Claude 3.5 with a bunch of architectural drawings and not only was it excellent at understanding them but also gave impressively relevant and insightful commentary about them. The fact that it can process multiple images made it all the more impressive when cross referencing sets of plans, elevations, and 3d perspectives to have a more complete understanding of the project. It's truly remarkable.
